The visit to Spencer’s by the Toddler to UKG students of GD Goenka School was a valuable learning experience that helped children understand the concept of a supermarket and its functioning. They observed and identified various items such as fruits, vegetables, and daily essentials, reinforcing their classroom learning through real-life exposure. The trip introduced them to the basic concept of buying and selling, including how billing and payments are done. It also enhanced their social and communication skills as they interacted with peers and adults, practiced public behavior, and followed instructions in a group setting. Additionally, the sensory experience of seeing, touching, and smelling different products stimulated their curiosity and observational skills, making the outing both educational and enjoyable.
Whatever you’ve got your sights set on, that’s the beginning.
