“From the Basket to the Blackboard – A Fruity Learning Adventure!”

At GD Goenka Public School, Mahanagar, learning came alive on 8th April 2025 as our little Goenkans from Toddlers to Class II enjoyed a delightful ‘Fruit Vendor Visit’ right on campus!

This fun and interactive session was designed to seamlessly blend life skills and concepts from Maths, EVS and English into one juicy experience. Children explored the names and colours of fruits, practiced counting and sorting and even tried their hand at simple conversations with the fruit vendor — just like in real life!

It was a wonderful opportunity to boost vocabulary, enhance number sense and understand the importance of healthy eating — all while having a fruit-filled blast!
