The Nursery students of GD Goenka Public School Mahanagar celebrated Blaze of Red – Red Day with great excitement on 13th March 2026. The tiny tots came dressed in beautiful shades of red, making the school environment vibrant and cheerful.
The aim of the celebration was to help children recognize and learn about the colour red through fun and engaging activities. The classrooms were decorated with red objects and the students participated enthusiastically in the activities planned for the day.
A special art activity of sponge dabbing was conducted where the children dabbed red colour on the cut-out of an apple. The beautifully decorated apple craft became their take-away, which they proudly carried home.
To make the day even more refreshing, the children brought watermelon in their fruit tiffin, cut into small pieces, and enjoyed eating the juicy fruit together.
The Red Day celebration was a joyful and colourful experience that helped the little learners understand the importance of colours while having fun with their friends and the teacher.
